Jesus taught us to serve others, and this group focuses on connecting with others that value working together to help the masses. Special events and church sponsored meals are a priority with this group and the planning, coordination, and execution of these initiatives can be the binder when collaboration comes first. Sharing life experiences and socializing are also important components to this group, with much to learn from others and much to teach as we all have needs and gifts that are better when shared.
Time and location: Typically the third Saturday of each month starting at 9:00, LOTI Fellowship Hall

Have you wondered what the Priscilla Circle is all about? Our focus is on knitting and other crafts which we donate to bring happiness (and warmth) to others. We do simple things that are easy, but have members who are happy to help when needed.
We are currently working on a project for the Franklin Learning Center and are knitting caps (see photo) in memory of Clem Engen who volunteered there. Clem was the brother of Ruth Lee and Ellie Holmquist.
A representative of the Center expressed her appreciation by saying…
“Thank you so much for thinking about us for the knitting project. I think that would be wonderful. Our female students would appreciate them too. We encourage them to wear warm clothes in the winter. It is fun to see our students in the winter time. Sometimes they wear their winter hats on top of layers on their heads while they are studying. We would love to share knitted hats with the students.”
Check the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall for additional samples of our work.
