The Linden Hills Chamber Orchestra will present the first concert of its 2014/2015 season on Thursday, November 20th at 7:30 pm at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The program will feature a brilliant soloist, Minnesota Orchestra’s principal trumpet player, Manny Laureano, who will play “Prayer of St Gregory” by Alan Hovaness, and Jean-Baptiste Arban’s dazzling “Carnival in Venice” Variations for Trumpet and Orchestra. Mr. Laureano will also conduct Franz Schubert’s Symphony No.8 , the “unfinished” symphony.  LOTI member, Mary DeVrieS and guest organist, will be featured on Adagio by Albinoni.
