Norwegian National Day Service, Ascension Sunday, & Celebration Coffee Hour

May 17th is the Norwegian Constitution Day. Although it is not a church holiday, it is always a grand occasion for celebrating Norwegian music and Norwegian desserts. This year the choir will be accompanied by flutist Dr. Rachel Haug on a lovely setting of a Norwegian hymn by William Beckstrand as well as a piece by Edvard Grieg.
This Sunday is also commemorated as Ascension Sunday marking the 40 days Jesus walked upon the earth after his resurrection.
It is also the last day of Sunday School for the 2022-2023 school year & a Celebration Coffee Hour in honor of Linda Nelson, retiring office manager.
