Sunday, February 15th, at 12 noon.

The $25.00/person, all inclusive brunch includes the following menu;

 (cost for children between the age of 5 and 12 years is $12.50, under 5 free)

A variety of Breads and Hard Tack & Butter

Capers & Tomato Herring

Mustard & Apple Herring

Juniper Herring

Eggs topped with Greenland Shrimps and Mayonnaise

Boiled Potatoes

Three kinds of Swedish Cheese

Rose Pepper Marinated Salmon served with Sweet Dill Mustard Sauce

Sliced Smoked Ham

Salad; asparagus, cauliflower, carrots in a creamy dill dressing

Pickled Cucumbers

Fresh Fruit Platter

Jansson’s Temptation (a creamy potato dish)

Swedish Meatballs and Lingonberries

Swedish Sausages and Mustard

Red Cabbage

Thyme & Rosemary flavored Pork Roast served with Cream Sauce.

Semlor – Swedish Lenten Buns – Cardamom buns filled with almond paste and whipped cream, and “Kärleksmums” – soft chocolate cake topped with chocolate glaze and coconut.

The monthly smorgasbord not only offers an opportunity for LOTI friends and neighbors to gather for fellowship and enjoy genuine Scandinavian hospitality, but the meals also support the benevolence work of our congregation.  20% of the proceeds are directed toward those less fortunate in our immediate community.  Through the proceeds of the monthly smorgasbord, LOTI supports N.I.P. Neighborhood Involvement Program, Joyce Community Food Shelf, Our Saviour’s Housing and Community Emergency Services.
