St. Martin of Tours was known for his generosity to the poor. One cold winter night, when he was still a Roman soldier, he cut his cloak two to share it with a beggar at the city gate. In honor of St. Martin and his legacy, our St. Martin’s Fest dinner will kick-off a winter clothes drive for PPL Project Pride for Living. The St. Martin’s Fest dinner is sponsored by the local Thrivent Action Team.
This is a family event for both adults and children. The meal will consist of prime rib, potato dumplings, vegetable and dessert, as well as beer and soft pretzels.
