…IN LOTI’S FESTIVAL CHOIR!

In celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, you are invited and encouraged to join the choir in presenting Bach’s cantata “The Lord God is both our Sun and our Shield”.  Written in 1725 for the Reformation Festival, the cantata is based on the splendid Lutheran Hymn, “Our God is a Mighty God”. Vocal soloists and a full instrumental ensemble will join the choir in performing the cantata during the worship service on Reformation Sunday, October 29th.

The choir is in need of voices to fill out the ensemble and urges you to join us for four Wednesday night rehearsals prior to the 29th.  This is not a lifetime commitment….but an invitation to participate for a month and help us offer a joyful Reformation sound to the Lord!  Remember….you don’t have to have a great voice to make great music!  On the other hand, if you have a great voice, all the more reason to help us out!
