Christoph Paccard, the 7TH generation bell maker, visited Lake of the Isles to hear the bells forged in the Paccard Bell Foundry in Annecy, France on September 12TH. He was in the Twin Cities for the inauguration of the bells at Westminster Presbyterian.
Paccard bells are now placed in churches and temples around the world. Christoph Paccardwas traveling later to Viet Nam and Japan. Surprisingly, Paccard’s largest bell is in Japan in the World Peace Garden.
Our annual Blessing of the Animals event in honor of St Francis will be held outdoors near the patio after worship (approx. 10:45 am) This event is for all ages! You can bring your live animals and/or your most favorite stuffed/plush animals for a special blessing by Pastor Haug. If the weather is rainy, we will take turns under the cloister.
Please consider donating gently used or new winter gear to help those less fortunate stay warm this winter. We need winter coats, boots, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves and socks for all ages. There will be collection bins at both entrances to the Sanctuary. Our drive will end on November 13. Donations will go to Project for Pride in Living

Welcome to the Isles Ensemble’s 2022-23 Season!
We look forward to being together, in person again, in the beautiful sanctuary of Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church.
As we emerge from the isolation and uncertainty of the pandemic, we, like all of you, are trying to make sense of its impact on us as a community and as individuals.
Our four programs this season center on themes of despair, loneliness, and grief – but also of hope, triumph, and jubilation.
All concerts are on Sundays at 4:00 pm.
We look forward to visiting with you at our post-concert receptions!
Admission is $25, or pay as you are able. Children and students are admitted free of charge.
Tickets may be purchased at the door, or online.
