Working Speaker Series

March 18, 2018 | 11:00 am - 11:45 am
Working is the theme of an ongoing speaker series in which people talk about what they do all day and how they feel about what they do. Many people within our congregation are engaged in fascinating work, and this series gives us an opportunity to learn more about what they do.
The next segment of the series will feature Jennifer Lundblad. Jennifer is President and CEO of Stratis Health, a non-profit health care quality improvement organization. Her entire career has been in non-profit management, in both education and health care. She also has extensive experience as a non-profit leader and volunteer, serving on nonprofit boards of directors (including as LOTI’s representative to the Neighborhood Involvement Program board) and as a volunteer adult literacy tutor and a volunteer Big Sister. Last summer, Jennifer traveled to Uganda as part of a humanitarian team with American Refugee Committee, a Minneapolis-based non-profit which provides services in refugee settlements around the world. She has an MBA in public and non-profit management, and a PhD in organization development.
Jennifer’s talk will take place after a brief coffee break following the Sunday morning service. Those who are interested will be invited to take their coffee/tea into the Christy Room for about 45 minutes. The first 15-20 minutes will be an informal talk by Jennifer, leaving the remaining time for questions from those in attendance.
