Service of Prayer & Healing

October 23, 2016 | 9:30 am
The Sunday nearest to October 18th, the Festival Day for St. Luke is often marked as a day for special services for healing.  St. Luke is referred to in scripture as the “Great Physician” and in medieval times he was the patron saint doctors and surgeons.  Numerous hospitals across the United States are named after St. Luke.
The service for Prayer and Healing on October 23rd will be a part of the Prayers of the Church and anointing of oil will occur during Holy Communion.
