Lent officially begins this year on Ash Wednesday, February 17th.The in-person service livestreams The worship service begins with a family friendly lesson concluding with confession and the signing of the cross in ashes. The service continues with meditation and holy communion. Lenten resource packets have been sent to members and participants, including the Ash Wednesday Bulletin, a copy of Holden Evening Prayer,  A Story to Tell ( a devotional booklet for Lent), & a packet of palm ashes. These packets are also available for pick-up at the church  on Sunday, February 14th during the curbside pickup for the Valentine Smörgåsbord pickup from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM, as well as regular office hours.
